    Brief history of Hamdard Village School

    It was the mission of Shaheed Hakim Mohammed Said that no child of Pakistan should be deprived of education. The campus of Hamdard Village School was completed and inaugurated in 1997. Hamdard Village School provides educational facility to the children of villages and goths adjoining Madinat-al Hikmah. School is totally free, no admission fee & no tuition fee are charged, even books, bags, uniforms and stationery are also provided by the Hamdard Foundation Pakistan. At present there are 650 students (boys/girls) studying at HVS.

    The details of the School Buildings are as under:

    PHASE I: Inaugurated in 2003 by Mr. Naimatullah Khan (City Nazim Karachi)

    PHASE II:Inaugurated in 2004 by Mr. S.H. Hashmi (Managing Director Orient Advertising Private Limited)

    PHASE III:Inaugurated in 2005 by Hafiz Fazal-ul-Rahim (Vice Chancellor Jamia Ashrafia Lahore)

    PHASE IV:Inaugurated in 2007 by Mr. Zafar Iqbal (Chairman Pakistan Foundation London)
