It has been established in Bait al-Hikmah which is the part of Hamdard museum to be established in future. More than three hundred surgical instruments invented by Abdul Qasim Al - Zehrawe have been arranged in three beautiful show cases. Al-Zehrawe invented these instruments nine hundred years ago when Spain was under the Muslim rule. Hakim Sahib got these specimens prepared so that our children may know how much work our forefathers did in the field of medicine. Most of the instruments after some amendments are being used today. About 442 coins of different countries have been beautifully arranged in another two show cases for exhibition.
Journals published by Hamdard Foundation and acquired by Bait al-Hikmah are displayed for exhibition. More than 650 children books published by Naunenal Adab are also there for display. All these children books are full of scientific and religions knowledge. Their study will inrich and enlighten children’s knowledge. It will increase the reading habit among children which was the mission of Hakim Muhammed Said Shaheed. He loved children and all the time tried for their better education and training.
